Graph Mining is one of the most informational courses at BITS Pilani. The course content was comprehensive and the professor built up from simple topics to complex ones in a cohesive manner. The lab component of the course allowed me to implement theoretical concepts in practice, solidifying my understanding. The semester project empowered me to explore more cutting-edge applications of graph-based machine learning. I am glad I took this course and would highly recommend others to do the same.

The course is well structured and has a good breadth and depth for an introduction to graph mining. The instructor understands the level of emphasis that needs to be given to different topics and does not delve into unnecessary and cumbersome details or proofs - keeping you motivated to follow along. Further the choice to allow students to use a practical programming tool like python and libraries like numpy lets them focus on understanding concepts and solving real problems.
